I've been using Linux for years and now Android is my favorite Linux based platform. However I often have ideas and haven't found a way to feed them to Google directly, and I'd rather not put them on a forum somewhere. Today Google Maps was updated with double-tap-slide to zoom - this works really well. I had the idea that a rotation of the finger should let me rotate the map too. So a double-tap-rotate clock-wise and anti-clockwise to rotate the map. Taking this further you could actually rotate and zoom at the same time, just double-tap and rotate the finger in a spiral fashion outwards or rotate in from the outer part of the spiral inwards, making the circles smaller as you go.
